This was a fun little lesson in texture. I spent forever on it, working and reworking, building it up with a ball peen hammer, two different tips to my Foredom hammer handpiece, and by hammering different sized dapping block domes into the silver. Then the backside- testing the limit of how much I could sand and polish away without wearing down the imprints of the hand-stamped lyric and sweet image of a bird outside from a cage.
