This piece features a stunning aurora opal doublet! I almost never work with anything but all natural stones, but this one was absolutely needing me to make an exception. "Aurora opal" is man-made with the most insane color-shifting glowing colors throughout. This one is a doublet, which means it has a bottom layer of the opal, with a top layer or Himalayan crystal quartz on top. This quartz on top just draws even more light into the piece and makes it even more radiant. It really is stunning in person.
I have it paired with Phish's Scent of a Mule, and while I understand it certainly is a -choice- to make fine jewelry with a song threatening donkey dumps- this one is full of laser game coloring, and such a beautiful lyric "Here is a place of elegance, here we shower ourselves in lightness".

I have it photographed on the 1.1mm sterling chain option for medium/large pendants, but it could work well with the .85mm thinner option as well.
