The moons here were all done using impression dies and my 10 ton hydraulic press. It's quite a bit of work to go through repeated rounds of annealing to soften the metal, then using all my might with the hydraulic jack to force the metal into the steel die, and then saw out and file them neat. But man, I think it's worth every bit of that effort.
This one's paired with a labradorite with rich purple flash when the light hits it, and subtle "mercury" running down the side.
