I'm gonna call it - this is truly the most incredible stone I've gotten to work with. It was pricey but I just absolutely had to have it and knew immediately that this was the song for it. The lodolite is also known as "garden quartz" and has such stunning depth throughout it- this one has beautiful mossy greens, earthy browns, and these absolutely stunning golden rutiles throughout it that shimmer and shine in the light like pure magic.
I have it paired with Phish's Dirt, a song about losing a loved one. It just seems like a perfect tribute piece, with the backplate having forget-me-nots at the bottom, a dandelion wish blowing up into the wind, and a butterfly fluttering onward and upward.
