I have 3 sizes that I make these metal ring dishes in, this is the smaller one. It starts with a 2" aluminum disc that I hand-stamp letter by letter, and then I slowly hammer it into shape as a dish, working my way down into smaller dapping blocks until it has a perfect little curve, and then I flatten out the bottom. The aluminum is very light weight, and it's the perfect little size to keep on a nightstand or on a windowsill by the sink to hold a ring.
This one features lyrics to the most beautiful song ever written. "never for money, always for love" I came hoe, she lifted up her wings, I guess that this must be the place", from the Talking Heads song Naive Melody.
