I'm a bit brokenhearted that after feeling like this one was completely perfect and did this amazing stone justice, I put a little dent in the backplate while making it completely flat before setting the stone. I did what I could to smooth it out, but any more working that spot would have eroded away at the letters surrounding it.
It was a pricey stone, and used a lot of silver so it would have been a pricey piece- I'm going to put it up now marked down, and if no one scoops it I'll tear it all apart and redo it from scratch.
The stone has super unusual earthy tones- I've never seen a stone like this. And up above are vibrant hues, full of life. It felt like a perfect pairing with this song. The lyrics on the back are surrounded by forget-me-not flowers and there's a dandilion wish blowing up into the wind.
