I'm having a hard time pricing this one because I spent wayy too long on it. The tricky part is trying to clean up any extra solder that ends up on the second layer/face after soldering the two layers together. It's so tricky to not get little grooves worn into that layer that take an eternity to remove! I've been working on this one for several months, picking it up from time to time to go back over the filing and polishing steps over and over- and finally nailed it with that brilliant mirror finish shine. I then when back and gave a subtle stippling texture to the back layer to really make the two pop!
Even just the stamping on the backplate itself was challenging- to get all of that text and styling to fit into such a small space- but I couldn't love it more!
Overall it was a good learning experience, so I'm going to price this as if I got it this perfectly polished without spending an eternity going back over and over.
