Subtle "away from the mire" running down the side, and backplate has a pair of birds soaring off into the distance together. 

Sterling chains available separately, or adjustable 18"-20" stainless steel chains available for free upon request! In these photos, this piece is shown on the 1.1mm sterling chain option for medium/large pendants.
